Thirty years ago this week, Petaluma lost one of its own.
Thirty years ago this week, Polly Klass was kidnapped from her home and killed by Richard Allen Davis, who is serving a life sentence in San Quentin. In honor of her, I am excerpting a chapter of my non-fiction book centered on that time. Had Polly lived, she would’ve been forty-two years old.
